Originally built by Henry Flagler, the Alcazar Hotel was purchased by Otto Lightner in 1947 transforming it into a museum to house Lightner’s substantial collection of fine and decorative art. At the heart of the Alcazar was the swimming pool. Measuring 120 feet long by 50 feet wide, the pool was supplied with water by an artesian well and was the world's largest indoor swimming pool at the time.
The pool is a truly unique and beautiful setting for an orchestral event.
This is a "walk to town" venue to celebrate either before the concert with dinner, or after concert with libations.
